Climb
the stairs on the outside of the mediaeval gatehouse leading into
Blanchland Square and you enter into Gallery Upstairs.
Located in
the picturesque village of Blanchland, Northumberland, Gallery
Upstairs, recently extended in October 07 and now occupying the
complete upper floor of the mediaeval gatehouse, showcases the work
of watercolour artist Gordon Lamb.
Contemporary
art and craft in a mediaeval setting well
describes the wide variety of work to be found in the gallery –
all created by local North East artists some of whom belong to the
prestigious Network Artists in Northumberland and/or The Aurora
Project.
If
you are new to the site, please browse the different sections using the links above, just as if you are
wandering through the gallery itself.
